The lens's balance is optimized by reducing weight at the front and placing fluorite lenses, facilitating stability and handling, with a rotatable tripod collar and a new bearing for smooth transitions between vertical and horizontal shots. The silent SWM motor guarantees fast, precise, and quiet autofocus, with continuous manual override capability. The minimum focusing distance is 4.4 m with a maximum reproduction ratio of 0.14x.
